Started as a backend developer in 2007 — Java, enterprise systems — and spent the last decade moving deeper into Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, and platform engineering.
I apply software engineering discipline to infrastructure — treating platforms as products that enable development teams rather than just keeping the lights on. I’ve done this across startup and enterprise contexts, including five years as sole infrastructure owner and COO at Synkzone, where I championed the move from VPS to Kubernetes and grew the platform from around 10 to 300+ running services — and learned what multi-cloud complexity actually costs you.
Most recently consulting through Accelerate@Iver practice, helping teams speed up cloud migrations and platform adoption.
At my best when given ownership of a hard problem — greenfield platform builds, messy migrations, or getting an organization to actually adopt better practices.
This site is the professional side — experience, learning in public with notes that go deeper on the tools and practices, a homelab where I break things intentionally, and a garage where I build them.
And ofc a few projects worth sharing !
